Line 3 Overview
Line 3 was inaugurated on 8 April 2017 and is 5.9 km long, with 7 stations. The line connects Matico in central Bilbao with Cuculga-Etxebarri. Unlike Lines 1 and 2, Line 3 is operated by Euskotren and is integrated with regional commuter rail services, meaning that many trains travel beyond the metro section and onto wider routes in Biscay. It also connects to other Bilbao Metro lines at Zazpicalec/Casco Viejo, allowing for easy train interchanges throughout the system.
