Orange Line Overview
The Orange Line of the Brasília Metro runs between Central and Samambai do Sul. Opened in 2001, it is the system's second main line. The 21.5 km long line has nine stations and shares tracks with the Green Line from Central to Águas Claras, after which it turns towards Samambai do Sul. It provides the main rapid transit link between the city center and the southern residential areas of Brasília.
