Line 2 Overview
Dongguan Rail Transit Line 2 was inaugurated on May 27, 2016. It runs between Humen Railway Station and Dongguan Railway Station. It is 37.7 kilometers long and has 15 stations. It operates as a rapid transit line, with mostly underground and elevated sections, making it Dongguan's first metro corridor. Phase 3 of Line 2 is 17.1 kilometers long and has nine stations. Construction began in August 2022. It is expected to open in 2027.
