Line 1 Overview
Line 1 of the Hohhot Metro is Hohhot City's first metro line. Construction began in April 2016 and it was inaugurated on December 29, 2019. It runs 21.7 kilometers between Yili Health Valley and Baita Airport and has a total of 20 stations. The line runs through the center of Hohhot, including major stops such as Hohhot East Railway Station and Xinhua Square.
