Line 1 Overview

Line 1 opened on June 30, 2023, and was constructed in several phases. The first phase opened between East Kapolei and Aloha Stadium, while an extension to Middle Street-Kalihi opened on October 16, 2025, adding service to Pearl Harbor and Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. The line is 30.4 kilometers long and currently serves 13 stations. The line also interchanges with TheBus transit network at several stations. Future extensions to Downtown Honolulu and Ala Moana Center are planned.
