Line 1 Overview
Line 1 is the first metro line of the Incheon Subway system. Opened on October 6, 1999, it was built in phases and subsequently extended several times, including to Gyeonggi in the north and Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in the south. The line is 37.1 kilometers long and has 33 stations. The line connects to other transportation systems, such as Seoul Subway Line 1 at Bupyeong Station, the AREX Airport Line at Gyeonggi Station, and other regional lines, making travel between Incheon and Seoul easier.
