M4 Line Overview
M4 line is the first metro line on the Asian side of Istanbul. Opened on August 17, 2012, the line runs between Kadıköy and Kartal and was extended eastward to Sabiha Gökçekmece Airport in 2022. The line is 33.5 kilometers long and connects central Kadıköy to the eastern districts of Istanbul. It is one of the busiest metro lines on the Asian side and provides interchange with Marmaray, Metrobus, and ferry services.
