Line 1 Overview
Line 1 is a light rail transit system built and owned by the Jakarta provincial government. Its first phase opened on 1 December 2019, covering a distance of 5.8 kilometers between Pegangsaan Dua and Velodrome and consisting of six stations. A major extension (Phase 1B) is under construction to extend this line towards Manggarai, which will add new stations and better coordination with other rail systems such as the KRL and MRT.
