Line M2 Overview
Line M2 opened on October 27, 2008. It was constructed by converting and extending the former Lausanne-Ouchy railway line into a fully automated metro line. The line connects Ouchy-Olympique, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, to the Croisettes in Epalinges. The line is 5.9 kilometers long and has 14 stations. It also provides interchange with Line M1 and the Lausanne-Bercher railway at Lausanne-Flon, as well as connecting to Swiss Federal Railways services at Lausanne-Gare.
