Taipa Line Overview
The Taipa Line is the first line of the Macau Light Rapid Transit System. It was inaugurated on 10 December 2019 and initially runs between Ocean and the Taipa Ferry Terminal in Taipa. The line was later extended to Bara on 8 December 2023. It is 12.5 kilometres long and has a total of 13 stations. The route stretches in a U-shape between Taipa and Cotay, connecting key areas such as the airport, Cotay Strip, and the ferry terminal. Interchanges with other lines such as the Sik Pai Wan and East Lines are planned in the future.
