Line J Overview
Line J began operations in 2008 and extends westward from San Javier Station on Line B to the hills near La Aurora. This was the second line added to the Metrocable network. This line was developed to improve public transportation access in steep residential areas where conventional rail transportation was difficult to construct. It became a significant extension of the metro system in the western part of Medellín.
