Circular line (New Taipei) Overview
Circular line (New Taipei) opened on January 31, 2020, as the first orbital rapid transit line in the Taipei Metropolitan Area. The currently operational western section runs between Dapinglin and New Taipei Industrial Park, while future northern, southern, and eastern sections are under construction to complete the full loop. The line is 15.4 kilometers long and has 14 stations. It also connects to Wenhu, Tamsui-Xinyi, Songshan-Xindian, Zhonghe-Xinlu, Bannan, Taoyuan Airport MRT and the Taiwan Railways system, making it easy to travel between different parts of New Taipei City without passing through central Taipei.
