Line 1 Overview
Line 1 of the Qingdao Metro opened in phases on December 24, 2020, with the northern section between Wangjiagang and Shanliang becoming operational first. Construction of the entire line was completed in 2021. It runs between Wangjiagang and Xianggangdong Road. The line is approximately 59.8 kilometers long and has a total of 41 stations. The section between Xingguo Road and Dongguozhuang is planned to be separated from Line 1 in the future and incorporated into Phase 1 of Line 7.
