Line 1 Overview

The first phase of Salvador Metro Line 1, "Lapa"–"Aceso Norte," opened for public service on June 11, 2014. The line was extended in separate sections to "Piraja" and later to "Aguas Claras," covering approximately 17 km and having 10 stations. It forms the system's starting corridor and interchanges with Line 2 at Aceso Norte.
