Line 2 Overview
Line 2 was inaugurated on April 1, 2013, and runs east-west through the city. The first phase connected María Montez to Eduardo Brito, and later extensions extended it further in both directions. The line is 34 kilometers long and has 18 stations. It connects some of Santo Domingo's busiest urban corridors, including major roads such as John F. Kennedy Avenue. It also connects with Line 1 at Juan Pablo Duarte station.
