Line 11 Overview

Line 11 was inaugurated on June 5, 1977, as a second branch of the Blue Line between Kungsträdgården and Åkala. This line was developed to improve metro access to Stockholm's growing northwestern suburbs. The line is 15.6 kilometers long and has 12 stations. It also provides interchange with the Green and Red lines at T-Centralen and Fridhemsplan stations.
