Metro North West Line Overview
The Metro Northwest Line opened on 26 May 2019 and was later extended to Sydenham via the Sydney CBD on 19 August 2024. The line is approximately 36 kilometres long from Tallawong to Chatswood and has 13 stations, including new stations and upgraded stations on the old Epping-Chatswood Rail Link. It includes underground, elevated, and surface sections, as well as a 15-kilometre double tunnel section and a 4-kilometre elevated SkyTrain section.
