Line 2 Overview
Taiyuan Metro Line 2 was inaugurated on December 26, 2020, between Jiancaoping and Shiqiao, making it the first metro line in Taiyuan. The line was later extended with the opening of Huazhongshijie Station in 2025. It is 23.6 kilometers long and currently has 24 stations. It also provides interchange with Line 1 at Dan'anmen Station. The line uses fully automated, driverless trains.
