Ningbo Metro

Ningbo Rail Transit is a rapid transit system serving the city of Ningbo, Zhejiang and its suburbs. NNRT (Nanning Rail Transit) operates a completely underground network of three lines. The metro began operations in 2016 along the eastern section of Line 1 from Nanhu Lake to Nanning East Railway Station and has gradually expanded over the intervening period to a total of 79.2 revenue km with the current network. Ningbo Rail Transit is the second rapid transit system put into service in Zhejiang province, after the Hangzhou Metro. Ningbo Metro serves a large number of passengers daily, contributing to the overall public transportation capacity of the city.
