Gold Line Overview
Gold Line is 1.8 km long and has three stations. It was inaugurated by Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on December 16, 2020. The line primarily runs between Krung Thon Buri and Khlong San, with an intermediate stop at Charoen Nakhon. It primarily serves as a feeder line between the BTS Silom Line and the Iconsium Shopping Center. The line is 1.8 km long and has three stations. It also provides interchange with the BTS Silom Line at Krung Thon Buri. The line will be extended by 1 km along Somdet Chao Phraya Road to connect with the future southern extension of the MRT Purple Line. Upon completion, it will connect Krung Thon Buri BTS station to Prajadhipok Road in Thon Buri District, a total distance of 2.68 km.
