Line 2 Overview
Metro Line 2 is the second line of the Cairo Metro system and was completed in phases between 1996 and 2000. It covers a distance of 21.6 km from Shubra El Kheima to El Mounib and consists of 20 stations. It connects Cairo's districts and includes major interchange stations such as Al-Shohada and Sadat, which connect it to Line 1 and Line 3.
