Line 3 Overview

Cairo Metro Line 3 began operations in 2012 and is still undergoing phased expansion. It covers a distance of 21.7 km from Adli Mansour to Kit Kat and currently has 17 operational stations. The line connects the Cairo International Airport area to central districts and major interchange points such as Attaba and Nasser. It is designed as an important east-west corridor and will eventually extend west to Imbaba and Cairo University.
