MRT Kajang Line Overview
The Kajang Line is the first Mass Rapid Transit line. The first phase from Sungai Buloh to Semantan, covering approximately 21 kilometers and 12 stations, opened to the public on December 16, 2016, after several rounds of testing. The second phase from Semantan to Kajang, covering approximately 30 kilometers and adding 19 stations, opened for full commercial operation on July 17, 2017, after final testing in the first half of 2017. It covers a distance of 51 kilometres from Kwasa Damansara to Kajang and serves 31 stations, including 7 underground stations located in the Kuala Lumpur city centre.
