Line 1 Overview
Line 1 is the oldest line in the Mexico City Metro system. The first phase of the line, connecting Zaragoza Station and Chapultepec Station, opened on September 4, 1969. The route was later extended to Observatorio in the west and Pantitlán in the east. The line is 16.65 kilometers long and has 20 stations. It interchanges with Lines 7, 9, 3, 8, 2, 4, 5, 12, and Line A.
