Saburtalo Line Overview
The Saburtalo Line is the second line of the Tbilisi Metro. It was inaugurated in 1979 and primarily serves the Saburtalo district, located in the western part of the city. Currently, the line has seven stations and runs from Station Square to the State University. At the station square it connects to the Akhmeteli-Varketeli line, and provides interchange facilities.
