Tbilisi Metro

The Tbilisi Metro is a rapid transit system. Opened on 11 January 1966, it was the fourth metro system in the former Soviet Union. The metro is operated by the Tbilisi Transport Company, which began operating the Tbilisi Metro in 1966, the same year. The system currently consists of two lines with a total length of 27.3 kilometers (17.0 mi), serving 23 stations.
