Line 1 Overview
Line 1 has a total length of 41.2 km, starting from Henan University of Technology and ending at the new campus of Henan University. It connects with Line 2 at Zijingshan. The line connects several important locations and areas of the city, including Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou Railway Station, Zhengdong New Area, Zhengzhou East Railway Station, and the Longxihu College area. The first phase of the line, consisting of 20 stations over a distance of 26.2 km, opened on December 28, 2013. Later, both its eastern and western extensions opened on January 12, 2017, adding 15 km and 9 new stations to the route.
