MRT Purple Line Overview
The MRT Purple Line is divided into two sections: the first 23-kilometer phase from Khlong Bang Phai to Tao Poon, which opened on August 6, 2016, and a planned 19.8-kilometer southern extension from Tao Poon to Phra Pradaeng. It is 23 kilometers long, with 16 operational stations, and additional stations planned or under construction. It also provides interchange with the MRT Blue Line, SRT Red Line, and MRT Pink Line at Tao Poon.
