MRT Yellow Line Overview
The MRT Yellow Line is scheduled to open on June 3, 2023, and is designed as a fully elevated monorail system. The line originally ran between Lat Phrao and Samrong, connecting eastern Bangkok to Samut Prakan. The line was opened in phases, and full passenger service was completed between its terminal stations after stations on Srinagarindra and Lat Phrao roads were sequentially opened. The line is 30.4 kilometers long and has 23 stations. It also provides interchange with the MRT Blue Line at Lat Phrao, the Airport Rail Link at Hua Mak, the MRT Orange Line at Laem Sali, and the BTS Sukhumvit Line at Samrong.
