Line 1, also known as the Kūkō Line, is one of Fukuoka City's subway lines. It runs approximately 13 kilometers from Meinohama to Fukuoka Airport via Tenjin and Hakata, and has 13 stations. Its first phase opened in 1981 and was later extended to connect directly to Fukuoka Airport. It shares tracks with the JR Chikuhi Line in the western part.
