Red Line Overview
The Red Line runs from São Sebastião Station to Aeroporto. The first phase of this line opened to the public on May 19, 1998, in support of Expo '98, held in Lisbon. The route has subsequently been extended several times, including an extension to the airport in 2012. The line is 10 kilometers long and has 12 stations. Major interchange stations on this line include Saldanha, Alameda, and São Sebastião, where you can change to other lines.
