Yellow Line Overview
The first phase of the Yellow Line opened on December 29, 1959, and after several extensions, it was completed in 2004. The line runs from Odivelas to Rato. The line has 13 stations and is 11 kilometers long. The line interchanges at Marques de Pombal, Saldanha, and Campo Grande stations. There are plans to extend the Yellow Line with two new stations (Santos and Estrela), connecting the Green Line at Cais do Sodre to the Yellow Line at Rato, creating a circular line by merging the two lines.
