M4 Line is a fully automated line connecting Linate Airport to San Cristoforo FS. The line is 15.2 km long and has 21 stations. Construction of the line began in 2012 and the first phase, between Linate Airport and Detio, was scheduled to open on 26 November 2022. The line was later extended to San Babila in July 2023 and finally to San Cristoforo on 12 October 2024. The line interchanges with Milan Metro lines 1, 2 and 3.
