Sennichimae Line Overview
Sennichimae Line is a subway line of the Osaka Metro system that connects Nodanshin Station to Minami-Tatsumi Station. The first phase of the line opened on April 16, 1969. Additional sections between Tanimachi Kuchōme, Imazato, and Shin-Fukae opened later that year, while the central section between Sakuragawa and Tanimachi Kuchōme opened in 1970. The final extension from Shin-Fukae to Minami-Tatsumi opened on December 2, 1981. The line is 12.6 kilometers long and has 14 stations. Major interchange stations include Namba Station, Tanimachi Kuchōme Station, and Awaza Station.
