Line 9 Overview
The first phase of Line 9 opened on July 24, 2009, between Gaehwa and Sinnonhyeon. The line was later extended in several phases, including extensions to the Sports Complex and VHS Medical Center. The line is 40.6 kilometers long and has 38 stations. Interchange stations are at Gimpo International Airport, Dangsan, Yeouido, Noryangjin, Express Bus Terminal, Seonjeongneung, and the Sports Complex, which connect to various subway and railway lines in the Seoul Metropolitan Area.
