Line 9 Overview
Line 9 of the Shenyang Metro was inaugurated on May 25, 2019. It runs between Nujiang Park and the Architectural University, forming an "L"-shaped route. The line is 28.99 kilometers long and has 23 stations. Later, Huanggutun Railway Station was added and inaugurated in March 2021. Together with Line 10, Line 9 is part of a planned loop corridor in the center of Shenyang. Important interchange stations include Tiexiguangchang, the Olympic Sports Center, and the Architectural University.
