Tamsui–Xinyi line Overview
Tamsui-Xinyi Line was constructed in several phases between 1997 and 2013. Its first phase, between Zhongshan and Tamsui, opened on March 28, 1997, while its latest extension, to Xiangshan, opened on November 24, 2013. The line is 29.3 kilometers long and has 28 stations, making it the longest line in the Taipei Metro network. It also provides transfers to the Wenhu, Songshan-Xindien, Zhonghe-Xinlu, and Bannan lines at major interchange stations such as Taipei Main Station, Da'an, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and Dongmen.
