Wenhu line Overview
The Wenhu Line opened on March 28, 1996, as the system's first metro line and was later extended to the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in 2009. The line is 25.2 kilometers long and has 24 stations. It also provides transfers to the Tamsui-Xinyi, Songshan-Xindian, Zhonghe-Xinlu, and Bannan lines, connecting eastern Taipei to the city center and Nangang District.
