Zhonghe–Xinlu line Overview
Zhonghe-Xinlu Line branch, located between Nanshijiao and Huilong, was constructed in phases between 1998 and 2013. The first phase, between Nanshijiao and Guting, opened on December 24, 1998, while the Xinzhuang extension toward Huilong was completed on June 29, 2013. This route is 29.3 kilometers long and is the main Xinzhuang branch of the Orange Line. It also provides transfer facilities to the Tamsui-Xinyi, Songshan-Xindian, Bannan, and Circular lines, which connect Zhonghe, central Taipei, and Xinzhuang.
