Expo Line Overview

The first phase of the Vancouver SkyTrain Expo Line, Waterfront-New Westminster, which is 21.4 km long and has 15 stations, opened to the public on December 11, 1985. The line was extended in phases to King George and Production Way-University, bringing its length to 28.6 km and 24 stations. It connects Downtown Vancouver to Burnaby, New Westminster, and Surrey and is the system's oldest and busiest line.
