Maalbeek Station Overview

Maelbeek is an underground metro station on Line 1 of the Brussels Metro. It is an interchange station for metro lines 1 and 5 and is located beneath Rue de la Loi/Wetstraat in central Brussels. The station originally opened as a pre-metro station in 1969 and was later converted into a full metro station in 1976. The station is the 10th station on line 1 from West Station and the 12th from Stokkel.
