Ankaray Line Overview
Ankara Line was the first rapid transit line developed in Ankara, inaugurated on August 30, 1996. This line runs between Asti and Dikimevi and is 8.5 kilometers long, with 11 stations. Officially called a light rail line, it operates more like a metro system, connecting important parts of central Ankara, including Kizilay. The line also provides interchange with the M1 and M2 at Kizilay Station.
