Line 1 Overview
Line 1 is Hefei's first metro line, with construction beginning in 2012. Its first phase opened on 26 December 2016, between Hefei Railway Station and Jiulianwei. The line was subsequently expanded in phases, including an extension to Zhangwu, which opened in July 2023, bringing its total length to 24.6 km and serving 23 stations. The line passes through major locations such as Hefei South Railway Station and Binhu New Area.
