Line 2 Overview

Line 2 of the Hefei Metro is an underground rapid transit line whose construction began in 2013. Its first phase opened on December 26, 2017, running between Nangang and Sanshibu. A second phase extension was later announced in December 2023, extending the line to Kuozhen. The line has a total length of approximately 42.76 kilometers and serves 35 stations. The route runs east–west through the city, connecting the western and eastern parts of Hefei and passing through several major urban districts.
