Airport Express Line Overview
The Airport Express is a high-speed airport rail line of the Hong Kong MTR system. It opened on July 6, 1998, coinciding with the opening of Hong Kong International Airport. The line runs between Central Hong Kong Station and AsiaWorld-Expo. Its length is approximately 35.3 kilometers. The line is the main rail link connecting central Hong Kong to the airport and also provides access to events and exhibitions at AsiaWorld-Expo.
