The Disneyland Resort Line is a short shuttle line of the Hong Kong MTR, which opened on August 1, 2005. It runs between Sunny Bay and Disneyland Resort station on Lantau Island. The line is approximately 3.5 kilometers long and has only two stations. It serves as an interchange point with the Tung Chung Line at Sunny Bay, allowing passengers to travel to other parts of Hong Kong. The line operates fully automated trains and was specifically designed to serve Hong Kong Disneyland.
