Line 17 opened on December 30, 2017, between Hongqiao Railway Station and Oriental Land. The line was later extended westward from Oriental Land to Xichen on November 30, 2024. It currently runs between Hongqiao Railway Station and Xichen. The line is approximately 41.6 kilometers long and has 14 stations. Major interchange stations on this line include Hongqiao Railway Station, where passengers can transfer to Lines 2 and 10.
