Line 7 Overview
Line 7 runs from Basij in southeastern Tehran to Maidan-e-Kitab in the northwest and was constructed using modern TBM machines. The first phase of the line opened on June 10, 2017, with additional sections opening between 2018 and 2019 as construction continued. The line is 28 km long and has 21 stations. It interchanges with other lines, including Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, and often operates in conjunction with Line 6 to cover suburban areas.
