Kunming Metro

Kunming Rail Transit refers to the metro system serving Kunming, the capital and largest city of Yunnan province in southwestern China. Line 1 was the first metro line in Kunming and began operation on 20 May 2013. It runs from north to south, covering major areas of the city. Through operation is currently provided between Line 1 and Line 2, meaning passengers do not need to transfer at the South Ring Road station.
