Line 2 Overview
Line 2 of the Kunming Metro opened on April 30, 2014, running between the North Coach Station and the South Ring Road. The line is approximately 12.4 kilometers long and has a total of 14 stations. It connects the northern part of Kunming with the city center and provides direct service with Line 1, allowing direct travel without changing trains at the South Ring Road. After the completion of the northwestern extension of Line 1 and the second phase of Line 2, the two lines will separate, and the South Ring Road will serve as an interchange station.
